Drone Systems and Training Program Development workshop for Fire Services

Location: Grimsby Regional Training Centre 167 Mountain Rd Grimsby Ontario
The workshop will provide agencies with information on requirements to start a drone program:
Attendees will also be able to see and try the training program that forms the foundation of NFPA 2400 Standard for Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (sUAS) Used for Public Safety Operations Both basic and advanced training stations will be available in indoor and outdoor settings. See photos below
To operate a drone in Canada operators require either a Basic operators certificate issued by Transport Canada or and Advanced certificate which includes a flight review) Also required is operator instruction on the drone system being used.
